March 12: World Day Against Cyber Censorship 2013

2013 is the sixth year that the World Day Against Cyber Censorship will be observed on March 12. Created in 2008 by Reporters without Borders (RSF), this year the day will be honoured by the Netizen of the Year Awards in Paris. This is the third year of Netizen Awards, which is organized and supported by RSF and Google to recognize that a third of internet users do not have free and unrestricted access to information on the web.
